My name is Zach Akers and I live in Eastern Kentucky in the city of Pikeville. I am engaged to my fiancé, Kiana, and we will be married in December, 2023! I am a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University where I majored in International Relations which spearheaded by desire to travel our beautiful world and lead me to PVGT. I received a Masters of Public Administration at EKU and I am now working at Pikeville Medical Center and building my travel business.

I have grown to love each corner of the world and began to appreciate what this world has to offer. I could give you a million reasons as to why I joined the PVGT team, but the main reason is truly bringing phenomenal travel experiences to those around me and tailor to each person’s needs with the vast network Pura Vida Global Travel has built around the world. My favorite destinations include both international as well as domestic locations.  The United States has so much to offer as does various locations throughout Europe, and North and South America.
